Background

Frixos Papadopoulos founded the family business Fontana Food together with his wife Maro Papadopoulou in 1978. Today, the company is run by the second generation, with their son Loizos as CEO and their daughter Corina as Deputy CEO. The company has 40 employees, a range spanning more than 300 products and annual sales of about SEK 400 million.

Assignment

In 2016, editK was commissioned to manage Fontana's public relations, encompassing everything from the company's long-term PR strategy through product launches to press lunches and business communication. During this time, Fontana celebrated 40 years, which was reflected in a number of activities throughout 2018. The assignment included increasing brand awareness and the visibility of Fontana's product range, as well as making the Papadopoulos family visible as active owners.

Outcome

During this time, editK has taken care of half a dozen or so product launches, a book launch, influencer events and a company anniversary, all with good reach among the target group. Fontana's founders have, for example, prepared food on TV and graced the cover of one of Sweden's business magazines.
